For Teens

Welcome to the Teens’ Page - we’re glad you found us! This page is written especially for kids ages 12-18. If you’re under 12, check out our Kids’ Page, written just for you.

The teens’ page addresses issues about child abuse and violence at home that are specifically relevant to teens. If you are feeling unsafe, either at home or with another adult or in a dating relationship - or if you are concerned about a sibling or friend - this page is for you.

If you or someone you care about is in danger RIGHT NOW, please call 911 or your local emergency number for immediate help.

The Child Protection Program is made up of doctors, nurses, psychologists, and social workers who are committed to keeping kids safe. This site contains tips to help you stay safe and practical information about what to do if you are being hurt or if you are worried about a sibling or a friend. We hope it’s helpful and interesting.
